So yeah. College. Its great stuff. I have 20 credit hours this quarter which keeps me insanely busy. I have *drum role* 20 books this quarter at a whopping cost of $620. I have to read about 300 pages by next week. But its cool. By TA for the European class I'm taking is from the Netherlands. He's got that accent from the guy in the Ikea commercials. Great fun. My dorm is pretty cool, as is my room mate. Last night all the girls from the other floors were visiting our floor. So that was really fun. I also managed to watch the presidential debate. I was hoping someone would make an ass out of themselves, but to my surprise, it did not occur. Anyways, back to school work...

Just got back from Oklahoma(AKA the asscrack of America). Visited my granddad for the week. In the past 48 hours I've slept 5 hours, and now I'm going to the mall for some khakis becuase I know there wont be 4o million high school kids around. I went to Jeff's dorm last night to drop some of my stuff off. Wow, he has a great view of Lake Washington and the 520 bridge. Lucky bastard...

There was this big argument on one of the livejournal boards. Some asshat had the arrogance to claim that all republicans are white, dumb, and that their parents were rich. How stupid could this person truly be? Is their hatred of people with differing opinions this deep? I get so angered when people stereotype, be it political ideology, race, sex, whatever. This presidential race is really pissing me off too. Both parties are making such a big deal about the role in Vietnam. Kerry: You fought there, you got 3 purple hearts. Wow. No need to flash that shit all over the tv because I don't give a rip. Bush: You didnt go to Vietnam. Who the hell knows where you were. I don't give a rip. The point being, IT WAS 35 YEARS AGO! No one gives a shit(or shouldnt). On another note, I've noticed more hatred for republicans in my own town. There are signs for Bush-Cheney as you ride along the freeway. Or atleast there was...until someone had the bright idea of spray painting it with a big circle and an "x" in it. A few weeks later they decided to cute the entire Bush-Cheney part of the sign out. Now I may not be voting for them, but that doesnt mean I don't think they shouldnt have the right to put their own signs up. Its freedom of speech! Vandalizing a campaign will not make someone vote against that person. It may actually make them vote FOR that candidate just because they were pissed off at those people who did that crap. Ok, enough of this. Blood pressure is on the rise and I still have a huge cut on my head that needs healing. Peace.

So much has happened this past week. I've spent a great deal of time with Jeff just doing UW stuff and whatnot. On tuesday I had a tumor removed from my head. It was benign but I didnt feel like posting anything just in case it was some kind of cancer. I got some email from the housing place at UW saying the messed up on my housing, that I was given a triple when I should have been given a double with Jeff. So hoepfully that will work out. I have less than one month to start school again. This time I will be a junior, which is really scary. I'm so ready to start and do get done with undergraduate. I can't wait to start something more challenging...

Well I suppose it tis my noble duty to updateth thy livejournal. Ok, enough of that. I stayed up till 2 last night because Interview with a Vampire was on. That movie gets better and better every time. I'll tell ya, if I was gay, I would be all over Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise....or Brad Pitt AND Tom Cruise. My room mate and I have been passing email back and forth. He seems like a really nice guy. He runs, he's republican, he got an 800 on the verbal SATs, he's majoring in polisci, and wants to be a lawyer. And now for the other room mate. Well I don't know yet! I havent met him, so I don't know if he likes to get wasted every night or do lines of coke on toilet seats. Lets see, ah yes, I got finished summer quarter with a 3.93. I get to apply to this honor society next year. Perhaps you've heard of it: Phi Beta Kappa. Oh yeah, and I get to start researching for my senior thesis. Oh, I saw Without a Paddle with Jeff. At first I was thinking this would be another crappy movie, but it was really funny. Anything else? Ah, someone AIMed me today whom I havent contacted in almost a year, but at this persons request. I don't know why they contacted me, perhaps just some vindication, a bit of closure before they start their new life. Either way, its good to know that someone isnt pissed off at me.

I have decided after much deliberation and thought, that I will vote for John Kerry this November. In all honesty, George Bush is a different person than he was four years ago. Most other nations hate us(not that they havent before, but even more so now), jobs are down, and many of his policies scare the bejesus out of me, and frankly I don't want to hear people bitching and moaning about another 4 years of him in office. After all this though, I still like a Republican, although I'm voted for one of the most liberal senators in the US. Maybe my views are changing because of college. Everyone told me it would happen, I just didnt believe it.

Well i just got back from my grandma's house and in the mailbox was a letter from housing at UW telling me that I will end up with a triple room. This is puse crap. I applied just a few weeks after I was allowed to. And I still get a triple. This guy better not be a sex offender, smoke lots of week or have his friends over(hot girls OK) when Jeff and I are in the room.

Today was priceless. On the way to school they have been doing construction on the roads, and so some of the stops have been close. Well there was this one kid who didnt seem to see the huge sign that said "BUS STOP CLOSED UNTIL AUGUST 8." So naturally he starts getting pissed off and starts running after the bus because it wouldnt stop. Even when the bus came to a stop sign, the bus driver still wouldnt open the door, and this kid is running like he's in the Olympics trying to catch up. He must have ran with the bus for a good two blocks before the bus passed him. It was kind of sad, but everyone on the bus was laughing because it was so damn funny. In other news, I had a test on Monday which makes it the 4th I've had this summer, for one class. I still have 3 more plus the final. On Friday, I need to see the Village. It looks scary but the director guy(Shymalan is it?) never uses gore in his movies, just creepy sounds and whatnot. Only 3 more weeks of school!!!
